あなたは食材が変貌をとげ、美味しいお料理に生まれ変わる前の旅路について考えた事はありますか？冬になる前にすくすくと育った野菜達は農家さんに一つ一つ大事にされ私たちの元へとやってきます。私たちは生産者の方と直接お会いし、握手し、購入する事が大好きです。地元の新鮮食材を無駄なく美味しいお料理へと変え、それを可能な限りお客様へと伝わるよう提供したいと思っております。

私達のお料理は地中海の世界へと連れて行ってくれます。それに伴い、地元農産物に合う、日本アルプス周辺で作られている地元のお酒もご用意しています。ぜひお料理と一緒に味わってみて下さい。

ディナーは予約制です。ご希望の日、空き状況については直接お問合せ下さい。ディナーは一日最低10名から20名までとさせていただきます。少人数のグループの場合お知らせ下さい。その日に興味のある方を探し、ディナーを開催する事が出来ます。 プライベートなイベントは大歓迎です！

What style of cuisine do you serve?

We offer a Mediterranean-style dining experience with a strong connection to the Japanese mountains. Our focus is on using seasonal, local produce, and we make everything in-house from scratch.

Will we have our private table?

No, our dinners are served at our large communal table for a maximum of 20 guests. We have designed to space to interact with each other and share experiences of the day.

Are you a vegan restaurant?

Although we are not a fully plant basted restaurant we like to be aware of our environment. This is why our dishes are mainly plantbased and if we do use meat we work together with local hunters.

Do you provide shuttles?

Yes, we provide free shuttles within Madarao and Tangram.

Do you also serve a wine pairing?

Yes. We offer a “wine pairing” option (which may include local drinks beyond traditional wine) to accompany each dish. The price is ¥5,500.

How far in advance do I need to reserve?

We ask that you reserve at least 24 hours in advance and inform us about any allergies or dietary requirements.

Is there a dress code?

No dress code. We aim for a relaxed dining atmosphere. Because dinner is on the mountain, weather may be cold — please dress suitably for winter conditions if you are arriving from ski/snowboard activities.

How can I make a reservation?

Reservation is required and based on prepayment. Contact us for your preferred date and the amount of people and we can let you know if we have seats at the table available.

What if I have special diet needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free)?

We aim to cater to all dietary requirements. Please let us know in advance if you have a dietary requirements and we will try our best to accommodate.

Where and at what time is the dinner served?

Our dinners take place at the JPS lodge and usually start at 18:30 and take about three hours. The address is as follows: 1101-59 Tarumoto, Myōkō City, Niigata Prefecture 949-2223.

What are the options for kids?

Kids until 13 can enjoy the 6 course dinner for a lower price. The prices are ¥7,500 for kids between 10 and 13 and ¥5,000 for Kids under 9. Alternatively we can serve a 1-course kids meal for ¥1,500 for kids under 9. The one course kids meals will be served in our playroom, next to the dining area.

Is it possible to make a reservation with a smaller group?

Yes! Our aim is to get a minimum of 10 guests around the table (the maximum is 20). If you come with a smaller group, please let us know and we will fill up the table with other groups.

What happens if the dinner needs to be rescheduled or changed due to availability?

Because we use fresh local produce and allocate seating by reservation, if you need to change or cancel your reservation please do so as early as possible. We’ll work with you to find a suitable alternative date where possible.

How does payment take place?

We require a prepayment for our dinners. After confirming the reservation details we will send you an invoice with a credit card payment link. By paying the invocie you can confirm the booking.
